Sharm El Sheikh to Cairo

Know before you go

There is one bus operator that has routes from Sharm El Sheikh to Cairo, with two departures per day. If you decide to take a bus, you can choose a few packages. They are Classic, Deluxe Plus, Aero, Elite Plus, Elite DD, Super Go, and Elite Plus+ options.

Most likely you will just arrive to the bus companies bus depot and see what is available. Note, there is a general bus station, and the companies individual private bus depot. I highly suggest taking the taxi to the bus companies private bus station and not the city bus station which is horrible and outside the city. Don’t always trust the app, but best to visit book directly at station.

It is About 400 km to Cairo and takes about 9 hours. There could be a delay going under the Suez Canal Tunnel.
